VZG 5A Series – Precision in XXL Format

The VZG 5A series has been developed for machining XXL-format workpieces. It makes no difference whether the challenge lies in large dimensions or heavy weights. Thanks to the gantry design with overhead linear guides on all axes, a working area of up to 5,000 x 2,500 mm and a load capacity of up to 5 tons per square meter has been achieved. Another advantage of this construction is that the constant mass of the moving components allows for an optimized and highly precise machine kinematics, independent of the workpiece weight.
